The Board

A Deviant's Factions Board is divided in two: the top half is your opponent's territory, while the bottom half is yours. The board is composed of 3 layers:

First Layer

The first layer contains four rows. The two in the middle are for each player's Characters, while the top and bottom ones are for Technologies. You can click on a card in this layer to see it in detail.

Second Layer

The second layer is divided into two parts, using the leftmost and rightmost side of the Board.

To the left, it displays each player's Avatars, Decks and HQs. You may click your opponent's Avatar to see information related to their profile. HQs, just like any other card in play, are also clickable.

To the right, you'll find both players' Voids (the place cards go when they are killed or destroyed) and their coin slots, which the game uses to keep track of which player holds Initiative. Additionally, the red button gives you the option to pass and not play a card for that turn. Around it, there's a graphic representation of the time you have left to make a play in any given turn.

Third Layer

The third layer contains each player's hands. Your opponent's hand is hidden from you, just as Decks and Voids are.

You may click any of your cards to see it in detail. You may also drag any one of them onto the Board and it will be automatically played the next time you are allowed to play a card during the Development Step. If it is your turn to play a card, that will happen immediately. If not, you are allowed to reconsider the autoplay decision by dragging the card back to your hand.
